The Mississippi branch office of CxGBS® provided Holistic Commissioning® services for the McCain Library project. Repairs to the exterior of the 20,000 SF McCain Library and Archives at the University of Southern Mississippi’s campus in Hattiesburg ensured the integrity and safety of the libraries’ collections. In addition to the replacement of water vapor barriers and improved French and patio drains that will aid in temperature control, the building received fresh pain, new railings, lighting, and brick pavers. The project included a small interior renovation of a critical temperature/humidity-controlled space to house historical documents.
