The Austin branch office of CxGBS® provided Holistic Commissioning® services for the Travis County Probate Court project in Austin, Texas. This $28 million dollar renovation allowed an eighty-one-year-old building to be re-utilized for modern use. The 58,000 SF building had sat vacant for four years and needed to be brought up to code. Also, because it was originally constructed in 1936, the building’s historic elements needed to be preserved as it is on the National Register of Historic Places. CxGBS provided commissioning of the HVAC, HVAC controls, lighting, lighting controls, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems during the design and construction phases of the project.
