Athens-Clarke County Jail Expansion – Clarke County SPLOST

The Advance Housing Unit – Jail Expansion project included renovations and additions to the existing Clarke County Jail campus to provide two new, sixty-four bed, dormitory-style inmate housing units. These two-story units are approximately 18,000 SF total in size. Renovations included a new public entrance and new staff dining area as well as modifications to control and equipment rooms. Site improvements to the facility included walkways, parking lot improvements, fences, site utilities, landscaping, and other associated, necessary improvements.
