Fort Hood Military Buildings

This project included the retro-commissioning of twenty-five buildings at the Fort Hood Army base, including buildings 1950, 4320, 4336, 9584, 10015, 17030, 18021, 21004, 22019, 22021, 24007, 25015, 27001, 27003, 31010, 31011, 33028, 33030, 33032, 33034, 33036, 33038, 33050, 34001, and 49010.

CxGBS® managed the retro-commissioning process, developed the owners’ current facility requirements, reviewed the documentation requested from the using agency, performed site walkthroughs to view and document facility status, analyzed data collected during walkthroughs, and compiled a detailed retro-commissioning report of findings and recommendations.

CxGBS also conducted training of the operational staff for how to efficiently operate the facility, providing a foundation for ongoing improved performance and operational sustainability.

• Observed and documented older control systems and recommended upgrading these systems to newer control system.
• Observed multiple deficiencies with control sequences and made recommendations to modify sequences to meet needs to facilities.
