Lloyd-Ricks-Watson Renovation – Mississippi State University

Originally constructed in 1929, this four-story building is home to the Mississippi State University School of Human Sciences and Department of Agricultural Education and houses offices, classrooms, and lab support services.

CxGBS provided Holistic Commissioning of the building enclosure, HVAC, HVAC controls, plumbing, electrical, and lighting controls during the design, construction, and warranty phases as well as Forensic Investigation of moisture intrusion. This facility also required coordination with Mississippi Archives and History because of historical preservation requirements.

Added value through CxGBS® services:

  • Provided unique identification for each HVAC piece of equipment
  • Assisted in resolution of improper performance of installed instantaneous water heaters
  • Documented and assisted in resolution of water intrusion at newly installed operable windows
  • Assisted in proper setup, programming and operation of multiple chained fan coil units serving large spaces
